Alex Maguire

Alex Maguire has been contributing to Slavery Links since 2014, when he coordinated student contributions in a design studio on approaches to slavery. In 2014-15 he produced poster designs for the Exhibition “Are you wearing a slave?” at the Kerry Packer Civic Gallery (University of South Australia). In collaboration with Roscoe Howell during 2020, Alex led work on redesign of Slavery Links’ website as well as the user interface design and general IT consultation. Alex describes his contribution as ‘driving Slavery Links forward, navigating the complexities of rapidly expanding developing digital environment and changing sociocultural change’. Alex joined the Board in February 2021.
